The torrential rains of yesterday have quieted down (yay!) and today I will be putting my new templates to the test. Wish me luck!
And about comparing yourself? Welll....
Ever get depressed reading about all the happy/happy/joy/joy statuses on FB?
I've heard suggested that you should all ignore them, because chances are, they're not true and the people in question simply hide their real life issues.
I disagree with that idea.
True or not, I think celebrating any notions of happiness and achievement... are grand.
Never feel jealous by what others write. Instead, allow their stories to be inspirations to you.
Some people lie online because it fulfills their need to 'maintain a facade'. That's their choice to do. Instead of judging yourself by their highlight reel, judge yourself by the person you were, the person you want to become... and the person you are now. Are you closer to the latter compared to the former?
If so you're on the right track.
Are you closer to the former instead of the latter? That's okay too.
Everyone grows and flowers in the rate that is best for *them*.
Are you grand in business yet in social situations or on standardized testings, you turn into a melted wallflower or score 40% out of 100%? Find a way to turn what society deems to be your lack... into your *advantage*.
Sir Richard Branson was dyslexic and told by his headmasater that he would either end up in prison or become a millionaire.
