Out and about

We were out and about on a little family jaunt this past weekend. We went to the big smoke - the city - to see the lights, and hear the sounds and visit some cool places and climb some stairs, and see a show and eat some good food and watch some clever buskers. We stayed in a pub and walked everywhere, we happened upon some street artists doing their thing and we saw some fireworks too. I have put my crochet project on the slow train while the fabric cutting and sewing gets to go on the fast track. I have a deadline and need to get sewing. One day into sewing for a few hours straight and already my back is playing havoc -- early intervention is required. I have moved my sewing machine onto my kitchen bench height cutting table so I can stand and sew. And wow much easier, faster and better for back too. Especially great when cutting, sewing, […]

As you know I finished by Scrappy steps afghan and mentioned that I was hunting around for a new crochet project. I have settled on Bullseye (which I fell in love with back here and again when Kate made it).
