Whipup.net NewsletterThis past week has been a kid focussed week (when isn't?) at our house. With the boy's 9th birthday to celebrate - we saw Harry Potter the finale in 3D and Rob built the boy a blast furnace. Along with a curry night and a Pavlova morning tea - it was a yummy and scrumptious and fun weekend. Some crafting has been done, in between trips out of town and birthday preparations I managed to turn the spare flat sheets from the sheet sets into doona covers.
Also this week I received my copies of Kids' Crafternoon, the first two books in a series of books I edited with Hardie Grant Books. The Kids' Crafternoon series - Papercraft and Sewing - are pretty wonderful books (if I do say so myself) and are available online through Booktopia and in bookshops in Australia - the rest of the world to follow. A crafternoon blog party has begun - so follow along to find out more about these books.
More crafty links I have enjoyed this week:
I hope you have your copy of issue 4 of the Action Pack - full of camping and holiday ideas, games, projects, recipes and adventures for adventure seekers everywhere. Make sure to visit the Action Pack website to find out more.
