Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Last weekend, Bob and I went to the Kenai Peninsula Fair, in Ninilchik, Alaska. If you ever want to get ideas of what kind of work you can do going from place to place, staying just a few days or a couple weeks, a state fair is the place to find them. From parking attendants to collecting bets on the racing pigs, from selling snack foods to playing guitar, from doing table massages to carrying boxes for vendors who need help setting up their booths.... the list of gigs just goes on and on.

I'm writing a series of articles about working fairs. Rodeos are often a big part of the fair, and they require a wide variety of mobile workers.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

JR Watkins - A Location Independent Business for RVers

Bob and I have been selling JR Watkins products since 2005. People love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. The business is extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want. No minimum orders. They'll drop-ship the products for you. Work the business wherever your RV travels take you -- USA or Canada. See the product catalog and learn more.

Working RVer Tip -- Belief

Believe in yourself and the job that you do. If you aren't quite sure -- if your belief isn't all that strong, yet -- borrow someone else's belief. Look at their success. Listen to them when they point out your successes. Believing that you can find work and make a go of it is a big part of doing it.

Working RVer Tip -- Make Your RV Work Friendly

Modify your RV to make it better for your work. Add a desk. Turn a bunk room into a work room. Add solar so you don't need an electric hook-up. Remove the couch and build a storage cabinet in its place. Turn the cargo area of a toy hauler into a work station. Modify according to the work you do.

Working RVer Tip -- Networking Takes Time

Most every job coach will tell you that you'll find the best jobs via networking. They may, however, forget to tell you how much time that takes. You'll need to decide if participating in online discussion boards, attending group meetings, and volunteering on committees is worth the time it takes or not.
