Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Greetings from the beach!

In each issue of the newsletter, we have "Working RVer Tips." This one is too good to slip in with the others. It's really a life tip, important for whatever stage of life you are in today.

Take 30 minutes each day for self-development. Listen to motivational CDs. Read an up lifting book. Read your Bible. Meditate. Whatever it is, do something that inspires you.

Even when we are doing work that we love, living the life of our dreams, it is still important to put a little time aside each day to recharge our personal batteries.

Speaking of batteries, we are in the testing phase for the new batteries in our motorhome. There's a bit of a learning curve.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

When interviewing for a job, stress your training, skills, experiences, and achievements that relate to the job. Prospective employers don't need the details about the intelligence of your grandbabies or the cuteness of your dog. They do need to know why they should hire you.

Working RVer Tip -- Handling Issues at Work

When something doesn't go right at work, you don't necessarily need to "shut-up and take it." You may have good reasons sometimes to choose that option. If not, find a time and place when you can reasonably and respectfully discuss the matter with your supervisor. That means be calm. Don't make threats. Don't do it in front of customers or other staff.
