Working RVer Tip -- Local Discounts

If you work in an area with many tourists, ask businesses for the local discount. Restaurants and tourist attractions, as well as some RV parks and other businesses, offer discounts to those who live or work in the community. Some places require a special card or pass, issued by the local tourism board or Chamber of Commerce. Some request to see a drivers' license, employment ID, or a pay stub showing you work for a local business. The savings can be huge -- as in thousands of dollars per season.

JR Watkins - A Location Independent Business for RVers

Bob and I have been selling JR Watkins products since 2005. People love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. The business is extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want. No minimum orders. They'll drop-ship the products for you. Work the business wherever your RV travels take you -- USA or Canada.

Working RVer Tip -- Interview Thank You Follow-Up

Follow your job interview with a thank you note. If the interview was by email, it is fine to send the thank you by email. However, a written-on-paper, mailed via the postal system may have a bigger impact.

Working RVer Tip -- Not Everyone Needs the Same Job

Keep in mind why you are looking for a job. The perfect job for you may be the one the RVer in the neighboring campsite hated. The RVer who just wants to work enough to cover the cost of his RV site sees those 40 hour work weeks differently than the one who needs to earn his living.
