Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Happy Thanksgiving! Bob and I wish you a very happy Thanksgiving and hope that it kicks off the start of a wonderful holiday season for you.

We have much to be thankful for you. This includes you -- our loyal newsletter readers and website visitors. Truth be told, we think of you more as friends and members of our RVing family than we do as consumers or customers. However, I want to make it clear that we do appreciate your patronage. Thank you for buying from us and our advertisers.

And, yes, when you click on that Amazon link on our website to go to Amazon.com, we do receive a commission on whatever you buy. So, if you are shopping with Amazon anyway, we'd certainly be grateful if you'd go there through our website. Thanks!

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

JR Watkins - A Location Independent Business for RVers

Bob and I have been selling JR Watkins products since 2005. People love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. The business is extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want. No minimum orders. They'll drop-ship the products for you. Work the business wherever your RV travels take you -- USA or Canada. See the product catalog and learn more.

Working RVer Tip -- Resume Tip

Skip the popular phrases and say what you mean. "Team work" and "people person" often show up on resumes and job applications. Does that mean you follow directions well? That you take charge and give directions? Or, that you stand around and visit while the other person works?

Working While RVing Isn't Just Old Folks

Full-time RVing -- and earning enough to support a young family -- is a viable, practical option. We are super glad to have many younger RVers in our audience. (Perhaps it reminds us a bit of ourselves when we started full-timing over 25 years ago. Although we didn't have kids, we were younger then!) This issue features the section of articles on the Workers On Wheels website that are for and about RVing families with children.

Working RVer Tip -- Ask for Clarification

When you inquire about a position, be sure to ask plenty of questions. Your interpretation of the ad may or may not match that of the employer. You may think the ad is perfectly clear. But, what you think it means could be very different from what the employer had in mind.
