PCA—Cayenne owners tend to be conservative in their color choices. Grays, silvers, whites, and blacks predominate. But every now and then we see a Cayenne in an unusual or an eye-popping
color. Here are five that have caught our eye recently. Do you own a Cayenne, or any other four-door in an unusual color? Be sure to head over to Rennbow.org (link is external), PCA’s Porsche color wiki, and upload a photo. To date, Sand Yellow is the only yellow that has been offered on the Cayenne. It’s bright, but not too bright with a lemony/buttery feel to it.

| | Motor Trend—As a lead up to last year's Best Driver's Car, we did a Super SUV shootout. The winner, the Lamborghini Urus, went on to place ninth,
ahead of the BMW M850i, but behind the Bentley Continental GT V8 at BDC. The second-place car in the Super SUV comparo was the Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
|
Automobile —It's been quite some time since Pro Racer's Take put a sport SUV or sport wagon to the test, and our Automobile ace Andy Pilgrim was
begging to get back behind the wheel of a compact people hauler. Alright, that last part is a lie, but we know it's relatively easy to produce impressive lap times with dedicated supercars and sports cars.
| | |
| | Motor1 —The refreshed Porsche Panamera appears very close to a debut because the latest batch of spy shots catch one on the road with barely any
camouflage. This one wears bronze-colored wheels and four exhaust pipes that make the exterior look particularly mean.
|
Motor Trend—It's no secret Porsche is working on a wagon variant of its battery-electric Taycan sedan. When the German brand plans to unveil the
long-roof Taycan model officially remains a mystery. Thanks to a well-placed source within the company, though, we now have a general idea of the forthcoming Taycan Cross Turismo's unveil date, and it's sooner than we expected.
| | |
| | Mike's Garage via YouTube—In this video tutorial you will see step by step how to replace brake rotors and brake pads with sensors on 2006 Porsche
Cayenne. The same brakes also installed on some models VW Touareg. This 2006 Porsche Cayenne S has 4.5L V8 engine and 350x34mm brake rotors.
|
Jalopnik—I’m not going to claim a car that costs $94,120 is “practical” in every sense, but if you’re cashed up and want an easy-to-use luxury vehicle that’s fairly fun to thrash–and
basically elite at everything it does–the Macan Turbo is undeniably impressive.
| | |
| | Business Insider —Don't pity the ungainly Porsche Panamera. The four-door that everybody loves to hassle for its looks has been improved,
unexpectedly, by the addition of a wagon trim to the lineup.
|
The Drive—Porsche owners love putting classic Porsche racing liveries onto things. Even Porsche itself does it these days, putting Pink Pig schemes on new Panameras for show and offering
Martini stripes as a factory package on the 918 Spyder. Some would even say it's played out, but those people are boring.

| | Mr JWW via YouTube—This is my Porsche Macan Turbo - it's my family car, a dirty daily driver! and today it's getting Ozone Gas treatment to
thoroughly decontaminate the interior! This Porsche Macan Turbo is the Performance model. It has 40 hp more than the standard Porsche Turbo taking the 3.6 litre twin turbo V6 to 434bhp and there’s 34lb ft extra in the torque department (now at 443lb ft).
|
Motor 1—Few things are as satisfying for car buffs as making your ride your own. By that, we’re talking about customization, and the dramatic effect of simply changing out the wheels
never ceases to be amazing. Case-in-point is this white Porsche Taycan Turbo S, fitted with a new set of Vossen wheels. Specifically, these are Vossen S17-04 forged wheels, finished in Satin Black.
| | |
| | Car and Driver—As a luxury SUV, the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid excels on multiple fronts. It's quick and gets decent fuel economy—when it's burning
any fossil fuel at all. It handles well, yet it won't beat you up over poorly maintained pavement. It hints at environmental bona fides without shouting about it.
|
Car Scoops—Every Porsche with a ‘Turbo’ badge on its decklid is bonkers. The 911, for example, feels like it can eat supercars for breakfast and even the all-electric Taycan, despite
being obviously devoid of turbochargers, is capable of injecting its driver with a large dose of adrenaline in Turbo and Turbo S guise.
| | |
| | Electrek —The 2021 version of the Porsche Taycan electric car has leaked in the configurator in some markets, revealing
that it will feature several beautiful new color options. Porsche is only starting to ramp up deliveries of the Taycan, so we weren’t expecting any significant update for the 2021 model year. A member of the Taycan Forum confirmed that’s the case as he found the new version of the configurator appearing in some markets.
|
Top Gear—This is the new Porsche Cayenne GTS, and it is a 2.2-tonne middle finger to downsizing. Yes folks, it’s 2020,
and the goldilocks of Porsche’s sports SUV range now returns with a big V8. Not as big a V8 as when the first-gen Cayenne GTS launched (that was a 4.8-litre naturally-aspirated thing), but a sizeable one nonetheless. For this third-generation GTS Porsche has ditched the old 3.6-litre turbo V6, and slotted in a detuned version of the V8 you get in the range-topping Turbo. Cap ‘T’, remember.
| | |
| | Autoevolution—As we wait for the Taycan Cross Turismo to come out with an all-electric powertrain, jacked-up suspension,
and shooting brake aesthetics, it is worth remembering that Porsche is hard at work behind the scenes with another project or two.
|
| | Driving—Porsche isn’t new to electric cars. In 1898, Ferdinand Porsche designed the Egger-Lohner C.2 Phaeton, powered by a four-horsepower electric motor and had a top speed of just 25
km/h. Fast forward to today, and we now have the Taycan. Porsche says it’s ready for the future of the automobile, regardless of whether it’s a luxury car or corner-carving speedster.
|
YOUCAR via YouTube—With the Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupé, Porsche is supplementing its SUV line-up with two new models designed with superb driving performance in mind. Typically
for the GTS models, the powertrain plays a particularly important part.
| | |
| | Saul V via YouTube—Today I am going to be teaching my son how to do an oil change on a Porsche Macan S and will be Vlogging about our experience, quirks, issues and process for you to be
able to learn to do it yourself including the tools needed.
