2. Preview of Tomorrow's Sermon
The sermon continues the teaching focus for the month of November: Experiencing God in Different Times of Our Lives. The writer of Ecclesiastes reminds us: "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven ... a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance." (Ecclesiastes 3:1-4) This month we'll be looking at some important times in our spiritual lives.
Tomorrow's message will shift the focus towards something more positive: time for gratitude. Although we will look at several passages, the main text is 1 Samuel 7, where Samuel erects the Ebenezer (stone of remembrance). We will talk about practicing gratitude in various times of our lives.
3. Update on worship plans given the recent uptick of COVID19 spread
Starting this Sunday, we are opening our service up once again for in-person worship. We are establishing new protocols which we believe will make attending these services safer, and of course we will continue to live-stream the service, and utilize Zoom for a Q and A time afterwards (see bottom of this email for more about that zoom meeting).
