60' cell tower proposed for Lahaina
Just found out about this! Please attend the Verizon pubic meeting Monday this afternoon (11-18-19) from 3pm - 7pm and speak your mind.
They are holding this meeting in a chapel, can you believe it? Like, let us all gather in reverence and worship the giant cell tower! (Which is designed to look like a fake palm tree, no less!)
The proposed giant cell tower would be on property owned by Maui Land & Pineapple.
Ask how much money Maui L&P will be making for housing this giant cell tower on their land (it is typically thousands of dollars per month)?
Ask how much radiation will this tower will be emitting, over how big an area?
It is meant to provide better cell coverage for Napili. Must Lahaina suffer for the sake of Napili playing video games on their phones?
