A resolution supporting 5G deployment is in front of the Maui County Council.
We must take action now!
Council member Rawlings-Fernandez introduced a resolution in support of the Hawaii state broadband initiative, which includes rapid 5G and wireless deployments.
Under the guise of resolving the digital divide, while taking advantage of the pandemic shutdowns which force people to work, learn and play online, the state has taken the opportunity to advance the rapid deployment of wireless technology.
Now council member Rawlins-Fernandez wants Maui County to do the same.

Please DO NOT copy/paste all of these! Pick one or two and Add Your Own Words. Your words are very important. Since this is a resolution, not a tower/antenna permit, we CAN talk about health and environmental effects!

Under the guise of closing the digital divide, the Hawaii state broadband initiative promotes 5G and wireless infrastructure. Supporting the Broadband initiative will not solve the digital divide, it will only serve to accelerate deployments of 5G and other wireless infrastructure that Maui residents don't want. We want safer, faster, more secure, clean and green fiber optics to the premises, to our homes, offices, and
schools. We want SafeG! www.SafeG.net
