When I first started blogging about business, I found a lot of people tended to get stuck on the details, myself included.
One thing that helped me was remembering that the point is to keep the reader engaged. While it's important to get your point across, you don't want to lose your audience.
Remember, you have roughly 3 minutes to catch their attention before they bounce.
Start off with a little known fact (and include a data source), a question or a quote. Keep the writing light enough to keep them moving through the article and don't forget a Call To Action (CTA).
