De-Stress Your Life
I don't know about you, but I think we live in a very stressful world. This has certainly been the hardest year of my life. To be very honest, I have been very stressed.
I know this is not the way the Lord wants us to live. I am sure that I Peter 5:7 is in the Word to help us to roll things over on the Lord when they are too heavy for us. I truly pray this scripture all the time.
Just knowing that God loves us and cares about the loads we try to carry means the world to me. It shows me I am not alone and that all things work together for good and He will take care of me.
Please know that we are all in this crazy world together and know and that I Peter 5:7 will work for you too!
I have put together a few practical things that have helped me and maybe they will help you.
Please note that I have not yet mastered these things, but I work on them everyday.
1. Pray
2. Go to bed at a regular time
3. Get up at a regular time as to not be rushed.
4. Delegate the things you can
5. Simplify, organize, and unclutter your life
6. Don't procrastinate
7. Live within your budget
8. Breathe. (Take more deep breathes, especially under pressure)
9. Exercise and eat right
10. Laugh more
11. Stay in Faith and read God's Word everyday
12. Forgive Mark 11:25
13. Talk less, listen more
14. Say no to some things. Keep first things first.
15. Be a praiser
16. At the end of each day write down three things in a thankfulness journal.
I know that God wants us to live in peace. The only way for us to do that is to believe His Word, speak His Word, and do His word. Give Him all the weights of the worries, anxiety, and burdens. Let
Him carry it for you!
