NEW ZOOM WORKSHOP!
THE JOURNEY OF YOUR SOUL
This is an unforgettable, life-changing workshop on the Michael
teachings, a fascinating channeled body of information about how we, as souls, set up our lifetimes, illuminating why things are the way they are.
In The Journey of Your Soul, we begin with an overview of how the universe works. We then study and interpret the Essence section of your Michael Reading chart—role (soul type), essence twin (twin soul), casting (position within larger groupings), entity (soul family), male/female energy ratio, and more. Next, we cover the Overleaves (personality) section of your
chart—goal, body types, soul age, and more—correlating it with the Essence half.
We explore the underlying energies of
traits and how they look and feel, going beyond theoretical knowledge to validate them. We also look at how they interrelate, learning to understand charts as a whole. Techniques such as systemic constellations help reveal how these energies show up in your life and where they’re blocked. Lively discussions on a wide range of topics are led, in part, by your questions and comments.
Those who can’t attend live are welcome to participate by watching the videos and submitting questions and comments by email.
We’re tentatively allotting fourteen weeks to cover everything, but may need less (or more) time, depending on the group. Those who attended
an earlier workshop are welcome to repeat it.
Please let me know if Sundays are
better for you than Saturdays, later in the day is better, or Easter Sunday/weekend is a conflict for you.

NEW MICHAEL TEACHINGS
ARTICLES
“Manifested Soul Age” is a piece that explains why children’s charts may have a notation, “Not Applicable,” and in general why the majority of people don’t manifest their true soul age:

“Obstacles Before Age Eighteen” similarly explains why a young person’s chart may say “Not Applicable.”

GRATITUDE
By Shepherd Hoodwin
Gratitude is an important part of the spiritual/personal growth path. There are two kinds: relative and absolute.
Relative gratitude involves objectively comparing our situation to those of others. It includes counting our blessings. We often take for granted the gifts we already have because we focus on what we don’t have or what is wrong. There is scientific evidence that we are
hardwired to focus on the negative. On the spiritual path, we work to counteract that tendency.
This isn’t to say that we should invalidate our feelings. For example, we may
not feel happy about an illness or injury that gives us pain and limitations; that’s reasonable—not many people like pain! However, seeing our situation accurately, in proportion, can give us greater peace and clarity. We might, for example, acknowledge all the parts of our body that are working well and do feel good. We might also compare our situation to others who have it worse and are rising to the occasion. Again, this doesn’t invalidate our own pains and frustrations, but it might inspire us. And although we might wish we weren’t in pain, at the same time we can embrace “what is” as a growth opportunity. We can remind ourselves that few lives are without pain and limitations of various kinds. The blessings in our
life deserve at least equal time. We might even find that they are far greater than our problems.
I often think of photographs of half-starving children playing joyfully
in mud puddles. It helps put things in perspective. There are certainly things about my life that I would change if I could, but it is also obvious that in many ways, I am more fortunate than most people. There’s no profit in dwelling on things we can’t change at the moment. In fact, resisting pain makes it worse because we’re tensing up further, whereas gratitude promotes relaxation. At the same time, having a plan for making things better, knowing what at least our next step is, can also help
us relax.
It can be more challenging to have gratitude for highly sensitive people, who feel every flaw like a pebble in their shoe, compared to the more easygoing types. The
flip side of being highly sensitive, though, is an enhanced ability to perceive beauty. For our peace of mind (and sanity), it’s better to focus on that. In any case, for all of us, gratitude is a skill we can cultivate.
A good practice for counting our blessings is to simply notice everything that adds something to our life, such as our many possessions, and thank them. Taking in the magnificence of even one part of nature, such as a cloud or leaf, can be powerful. Being thankful for the ingenuity and helpfulness of amazing human creations such as cars, phones, and computers can aid us in not taking them for granted.
Absolute gratitude is just being grateful, period, immersed in what is and feeling the grandeur of it, allowing the energy of the universe to course through us, which can lead to bliss. One reason we feel good in
nature is that absolute gratitude is the natural state of most things most of the time. In a healthy forest, one can feel the trees enjoying the rustling of the wind, reaching up to the light, taking it in, and transmitting that higher energy into the earth. There is a free flow of life force that is naturally grateful for what is and in harmony with the whole. That is a state that long-time meditators sometimes reach.
Practicing both relative and absolute gratitude can make us happier and bring more blessings to others.
