Solving COMSOL Multiphysics Problems: An Introductory COMSOL Multiphysics Training Course
Would AltaSim's intro training class benefit me or someone I know?
Hello

Have you been wondering whether our class Solving COMSOL Multiphysics Problems might be a good fit for you, or someone in your organization? We would like to provide you with some additional information that could bring more clarity on this question for you.

COMSOL Multiphysics has a wide range of extremely powerful features, including the ability to program parametric sweeps of boundary conditions, material properties and even geometric dimensions.  As part of Day Three, AltaSim’s engineers will describe in detail the methods to setup parametric sweeps of different modeling parameters. This capability enables the students to conduct extensive design studies with limited time spent in setup and interacting with the software.

Another key benefit of COMSOL Multiphysics that will be discussed in detail is developing descriptive plots using data sets for post processing. On Day Four, we will explain adding dimensions to data sets (plotting results from a 2D model in 3D),  and how to derive values to evaluate data (e.g., integration, average, max/min) along with many other aspects of post-processing.

During the afternoon of Day Four, we spend individual time with our students to work through problems of interest to them. This time personalizes the learning and enables students to leave with a working problem of interest to them.

As one of our previous students shared with us-

“I thought I got to work on some pretty cool projects using COMSOL until I got here. I took one look at the pictures AltaSim had in their training room, and I knew right away they were going to take me to the next level. I can’t believe I got to learn from them. At first I thought it would be too overwhelming, but Josh and Luke and Sergei, along with all the practice problems, made it understandable. I can’t wait to get back to the office and apply all of this knowing they are available if I get stuck.”
