Hello ,

Welcome to this week’s issue of The Ripple Effect and some inspiration for your week.

Two weeks ago I hosted C3’s first group Vision Retreat. It was a wonderful day with a group of inspiring women who spent focused time getting clear on their purpose and their vision for the year. They left with a plan in place to start implementing that vision. I am planning to host another sometime in April. Stay tuned for more details and registration information!

Here is a photo of the group holding up one of their favorite quotes from the day.

This week’s quote is the one we’re holding up in the photo above – it’s about embracing uncertainty and not knowing the answers, which is something I try to be more comfortable with each day.

I hope you enjoy it and feel free to pass it along to anyone who may benefit from reading it.

Keep spreading those positive ripple effects!

Wishing you joy and success,
Andria

How to Stop Multi-Tasking: Multi-tasking is a way of life today. We all have so much information to process and have it coming to us in all forms 24 hours a day; however, our brains cannot do more than one thing at one time so trying to multi-task and thinking you are getting a lot done is a myth. I’ve written about this before. [Read more...]

“Being at ease with not knowing is crucial for the answers to come to you." ~Eckhart Tolle

This quote was included as part of the “uncovering your purpose” piece of C3’s Vision Retreat.  I included it because although some people are very clear on what their purpose is and how to align with it, others are not. Those who are not often put lots of pressure on themselves to “figure it out”. When we put that kind of pressure on ourselves and keep searching for the answers from the place of “needing” to know, we keep the answers at bay.  What Eckhart Tolle says is you must be at ease with NOT knowing; and then answers will come to you. When you give up the “need to know” and release the resistance and anxiety about not knowing, you open yourself up to receive the answers you seek. This not only applies to your purpose in life but anything else you are searching for an answer to; be at ease with not knowing, let it go, and trust me, the answers will come.

This week’s inspirational activity:  Is there something you’ve been trying to figure out or a problem you’ve been trying to solve? Try to do what Eckhart Tolle suggests: release it, be okay with not knowing; yet, knowing that in due time, the answers and solutions you seek will come.
