Hello ,

Hope you’re having a wonderful summer. I decided to take a “break” from my writing sabbatical and send out an edition of The Ripple Effect. I wanted to share some blog posts I’ve written which I think will resonate with you, and, also share a story I think you'll appreciate and enjoy.

Last Wednesday I was having one of those days of deeply missing my Dad and wanting to feel his presence. I was out most of the morning feeling heavy-hearted and sad. When I came home, I found the below poem emailed to me via the “contact us” page on C3’s website.  I assume this wonderful man follows my blog and/or subscribes to The Ripple Effect so knew of my Dad’s passing. What he didn’t know was how perfect his timing was in sending this to me right when I needed it. I love when these types of synchronicities occur.  It reminds me that we always get what we need – the Universe is always looking out for us.
These things have been happening to me a lot lately; Divine connections being made at the perfect time. I actually believe they are always happening all around us – we just need to pay attention.

Thank you Tom Krause, for this wonderful poem.

Perhaps it will provide comfort to you, as it did to me last week.

A POEM FOR AFTER LOSS OF LOVED ONE (DAD)
I'll Be Watching You Everyday - A Message From Heaven –
Poem by Tom Krause

Never should your heart feel lonely though I may seem far away.
From a place up in the heavens I’ll be watching you everyday.
You were always my love precious, the joy forever of my life.
Let my presence bring you comfort should you ever battle strife.
Know my spirit will be near you with angels ready standing by
for each step you take tomorrow and for each breath that you sigh.
And before you even know it back together we will be.
Always will be with each other forever through eternity.
So continue on your journey - enjoy your life along the way.
And remember from the heavens - I’ll be watching you everyday.

Below are a few blog posts I’ve written since I’ve been on my writing sabbatical that I wanted to share in case you do not subscribe to C3’s blog (you can sign up to do that on the right hand side of our blog page.)

Feel free to pass this edition of The Ripple Effect onto anyone you think will benefit from reading it.  Keep spreading those positive ripple effects and enjoy the rest of the summer!

Wishing You Joy and Success,
Andria

Drowning Out Other Voices: As I am in the midst of my writing sabbatical and honoring the voice of my soul by taking this time to write, I realize that there are many other voices that need to be drowned out and ignored. Those are the voices of judgment, criticism, and misinterpretation about what I’m doing. Some of those voices are my own and some are not. What I’ve discovered the past few weeks is when others start questioning what I’m doing, this triggers my own self-doubts and the fearful voice in my head that also questions what I’m doing. Addicted To Struggle: I lived most of my life measuring my success based on how productive I was in a given day and how “hard” I worked.  Like most of us, I thought being busy and having an insane, crazy, hectic, unmanageable schedule was normal. It was a badge of honor.  I’m working hard. I’m struggling. No pain, no gain. Right?  Um. No. I was very wrong. [Read more...]

How To Go From Chaotic To Mindful Living: Last week I was out to lunch with a friend and she asked me if I’d be willing to speak at her team’s offsite this Fall. I asked her what she wanted me to speak about and she said “mindfulness”.  My initial feeling was one of excitement … what a fun topic!  And then I almost laughed out loud at the fact that she was serious. Mindfulness? ME?! The future-focused worrier? [Read more...]
