Some exciting news to report: Atlantic Business Magazine has added a new awards program to its roster—Atlantic Canada’s Best Places to Work.

We used to partner with a national organization on a similar program, but they decided to take the program inhouse, publishing the results on their own digital platform. And that was entirely their right to do so.

We, however, weren’t content to just remove this important employer recognition from our editorial calendar. From Forbes to Harvard Business Review to the 471 million search results on Google, the evidence is vast and unassailable: contented and engaged employees make for a stronger, more efficient and effective workplace. What kind of business magazine would we be if we didn’t recognize what makes for an exemplary employer?

Still, there are a couple of crucial differentials from our previous version of this program. First, this is 100% focused on Atlantic Canadian employers. Second, we aren’t charging a $1,300+ fee to submit your nomination. Third, winners will be announced in the January/February 2023 edition of Atlantic Business Magazine (print and online editions).

Nominations close on October 21. Late entries will be held for 2023.
