My apologies. This is something I meant to ask you about late last year, but the days flew by and before I knew it, they’d turned into weeks and then months. Better late than never?
As you may or may not be aware, each issue of Atlantic Business Magazine has an editorial theme. But doesn’t mean the topic is limited or narrow. Let me explain.
March, our annual Power issue, isn’t limited to any single definition of power. We look at the Quebec/N.L. power play over Churchill Falls, the transition of leadership power to a younger generation of CEOs, the economic power of immigrant entrepreneurs, Indigenous communities that are reclaiming their power and the future of Irving Oil without Atlantic Canada’s most powerful family behind it. And the headliner to all of this, our Cover Story, is our 4th annual list of Atlantic Canada’s Most Powerful Women.
Editorial themes for the rest of the year, outlined on page 8 of our media kit, are Corporate Governance (May), the Business of Culture (July), Resource Development (September) and Digital Transformation (November).
So, here’s the question I meant to ask: do these themes align with what’s important to you? Do you wish they were something else? Do you have any ideas for how we can expand on them in future issues?
Ok, that’s more than one question. The answers are intrinsic to how we operate: we are Atlantic Canada’s business magazine, 100% dedicated to stories about Atlantic Canada businesses and people. I really would love to know what you think.
