Friends,
This email is not urgent.
It's a read-anytime kinda thing.
Curl up with a nice beverage and enjoy this message whenever you have the time or inclination.
In a world that's often filled with terrible news, here's some good news for a change.
. . .
I'd like to take a moment to congratulate a few clients on their recent achievements.
Beautiful projects. Beautiful victories. We have a great deal to celebrate.
Please join me in congratulating these people on their wonderful accomplishments & let's celebrate these wins together. Check out their books. Listen to their shows. Or, reach out personally to someone to say, "I love your new project. You've inspired me."
Congratulations to...
- Theresa Reed. Theresa is a long-time client and friend. I've been honored to collaborate with her many times over the last 10 years. Her new book is hitting bookstores in a few weeks. It's called Twist Your Fate: Manifest Success with Astrology and Tarot. What's more? She's already writing her next book. It will be
her 9th. Incredible.
- Erin Haag. Earlier this year, Erin told me, "I want to write a book" and hired me for book development, writing coaching, and editing. Six weeks later, her book manuscript is done! She wrote incredibly rapidly. The material poured out of her like a roaring
waterfall! How did she accomplish this so quickly? She kept the process fun. For instance, she wrote several chapters of her book while soaking in a bubble bath. Moral of the story: let's all take more baths!
Rumi and Amanda: you are both brilliant, powerful, and gifted. I'm wishing you both the greatest success on your business journeys.
- Chart Your Career. I was honored to be featured on Chart Your Career, a show hosted by two friends, Heidi Rose Robbins and Ellen Fondiler. It's a podcast that combines true stories, career advice, and astrology. You can listen to the episode on Spotify or Apple Music. I share why I dropped out of college, why I quit my job and became an entrepreneur, and other pivotal moments. We had such a moving conversation. I hope you enjoy it.
Kind Words of the Week
Briana wrote these extremely kind words about her experience working with me.
“While I was working on my first book, I hired Alex. She helped me clarify some important questions like: Who is the intended audience for my book? How can I reach those people? What is the message I want to deliver? How can I market this book well & make this book successful—both financially and emotionally too?
Alex helped me think big-picture and also consider small details, too. For instance, she encouraged me to send a 'thank you' gift to my publisher (which they still remember to this day!). I had a massively successful book launch (even though I did not promote the book on social media) and Alex played a role in this.
To anyone who wants to birth a book into the world, work with Alex and you'll receive expertise, kindness, and a beautiful experience.”
That's my celebration list for today. 🎉
And, what is something that you want to celebrate this week?
Perhaps: you prioritized your mental health. You hired a therapist. You called a friend. Or, you wrote one page and then another. You announced a new project. You did something brave. You did not give up.
Whatever type of victory you're celebrating right now, I'm celebrating right along with you.
-Alex
PS....
You have a book idea?
You would love to get a book deal with a publisher?
You’d like to work with me—1-on-1—to achieve this goal?
If so, join me for Book Deal Camp which begins at the end of this month.
I'm so excited about this. I'm looking for about 5 more clients to join in. Perhaps 1 of those clients will be...you.
