What is all the fuss about fermented foods? Kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut, kombucha...Join us Thursday, May 23 at 7pm in the Alpine Clinic Education Room and learn the why and how of fermentation. Getting started may be much easier than you think! Come learn some tips and tricks to get started making these wonderful foods in you own home.
Participation is free; however, supplies to get started making your own fermented food will be available for purchase after the presentation. Some supplies will need to be ordered and paid for in advance. Below is pricing and details:
Kombucha kits are available for $30.
Kombucha Scoby (symbiotic culture of bacteria & yeast that creates kombucha under the correct circumstances) is $5.
Sauerkraut supplies: (available the night of class at the dispensary)
