Shane Lege is a Service-Disabled Veteran who was originally from a small town in Louisiana. He grew up within humble means but there was always food on the table. During the holidays, the family would all gather to enjoy each other’s company and eat our fill of some great Cajun food.
After graduating High School, he joined the U.S. Army as a 12B Combat Engineer and served in the 65th Engineering Battalion within the 25th Infantry Division out of Hawaii. From there he visited many different countries to learn how others live around the world. He had a lot of great experiences, made new friends from outside the state of Louisiana, and tried out new things, like jumping out of perfectly good aircraft.
Later in life he changed job specialties to a 68F, an Aircraft Electrician, and learned how to repair aircraft to keep them flying. This experience really pushed his mental limits as aircraft can be complex items, with many different systems that sometimes fail. However, he learned the little tricks of the trade to remain successful and keep the aircraft in the air. This led to learn how to fly small planes.
He later moved to Germany for a seven-year stint, which allowed him to see a few more countries that he always wanted to visit. From there he was able to visit Austria, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, France, and Poland. This really opened his eyes to see the different cultures from around the world.
He now resides within the state of Alabama, learning and seeing new things. Continuing to try things that are different just to see if he can do them. Loves spending time with his immediate family.

Philip started playing videogames at the age of 7 and at the age of 16 he started playing online spending 5 hours a night locked in his bedroom talking to people from around the world that he didn't know. He regularly had the power or internet unplugged because he was spending too much time online.

Since then he's worked in the games industry for 22 years including on games like FIFA, and consulted for global brands and governments. In 2008 he consulted for the UK government on child internet safety and gaming and was invited to No.10 Downing Street.

After breaking his neck playing sport at the start of 2020 he's transitioned to being a parenting and education coach helping parents manage screen time and online safety for their children. He also creates educational resources and demonstrates how videogames can be used to support learning and skill development in the classom. Some of his work includes operating tournaments for students using Minecraft, maths resources based on popular games, coding competitions and workshops for students, and training teachers on how to use videogames to engage students.

About New Mexico Oil and Gas Law: State, Federal and Fee Lands

The purpose of this book is to orient the uninitiated to the complexities of New Mexico oil and gas law and to provide a helpful guide to additional resources available to the oil and gas practitioner. To this end, familiarity with the footnotes is highly recommended as they contain a wealth of hyperlinks to critical information resources. Chapter I and Chapter II of the book traces New Mexico’s development from pre-history to statehood in 1915, with particular focus on the genesis of land titles. Chapter III discusses the attributes of the fee mineral estate, the oil and gas lease, and provides a brief introduction to the New Mexico Oil Conservation Division. Chapter IV and Chapter V detail New Mexico’s unique community property, and descent and distribution regimes, including important historical variances. The final two chapters of the article provide an overview of federal oil and gas leasing and lease maintenance with the Bureau of Land Management (Chapter VI), and state oil and gas leasing and lease maintenance with the State Land Office (Chapter VII).
