What's New With The API

We've recently made some changes to the AWeber API. You can now:

Showcase your AWesome app
Move subscribers without sending follow up messages

Getting Your App In the Showcase

Have an AWesome app that you want other AWeber customers to use?

You can now request that we showcase your app in AWeber Labs. Simply log in to your labs developer account and click "Request Showcase."

We'll review your app and if it's something that other customers can use, they will see it on the 'My Apps' page in the AWeber Control Panel.

Moving Subscribers Without Sending Follow Ups

A number of developers have requested to be able to move subscribers to a new list without sending them follow ups, but we figured we'd actually give you the opportunity to start them on any follow up you want.

Simply pass in the optional 'last_followup_message_number_sent' parameter to set what followup new subscribers will start at.

Already have an app that moves subscribers?

Don't worry, this change to the move() method is optional and defaults to the existing behavior of setting the subscriber to the beginning of the sequence.

Refer to our code samples for the 2 most common uses for the move() method:

1. Moving a subscriber from list A to list B and starting them at the first followup message.

Please note, to use this new feature, you'll need the most recent API client library.
