In July, we asked you to vote for your favorite ideas submitted by developers. We’ve tallied the final results. It was a close race! Although Subscribe/Unsubscribe Webhooks took first place, there was no clear front-runner. As you can see from the pie chart, all of these features are important to developers. This tells us we are moving in the right direction. We appreciate everyone’s participation and will keep you updated on what idea we tackle next!
API Updates Reducing your number of API calls will reduce rate limiting issues. With that in mind, we’ve updated the ‘Find subscribers for list’ and ‘Find subscribers for account’ endpoints to include the list_name and list_link for each subscriber. This eliminates the need to iterate over the collection returned from the endpoint and make secondary API calls to get the name of each list. We’ve
updated our API documentation to include all new OAuth1 instructions. These revisions — along with new code examples — guide you through the common questions developers encounter. We’ve also migrated our FAQs, Troubleshooting Guide, and API Change Log into our documentation. Browse the updated documentation
September’s Highlighted Integration: Agile CRM Agile CRM’s talented team of developers began building their AWeber
integration in July 2018. Their goal was straightforward: Add new contacts created in Agile CRM to AWeber. And last week they took their integration to the next level! Agile CRM’s developers included a widget in their application that shows all email lists a contact is subscribed to without needing to log into AWeber. This was done using a single API call to the ‘Find Subscribers for account’ endpoint. Check out the results!
