Support for OAuth 2 is right around the corner!
Â
On April 15th, we're introducing support for one of our most requested features: OAuth 2.
Â
To use OAuth 2, simply create a new application inside your AWeber developer account. Moving forward, all new applications will be OAuth2. (Existing OAuth 1 applications are not impacted by this change and will continue to function.)
Â
With the release of OAuth 2, also keep an eye out for:
To support publicly available source code where your OAuth 2 client keys are visible (such as WordPress plugins), we will introduce PKCE support soon, too. Please educate yourself on the security benefits of using PKCE for all integrations by clicking the link.
Â
We value your opinion. Let us know your feedback and questions. Please email us at [email protected] or reply to this message.
REMINDER:
Never ask a customer to create a developer account. Use your developer account to connect all customers to your integration.
