"I am still obsessed by Picasso." John Richardson art historian and Picasso biographer. John Richardson has just turned 92 years old when Alain goes to visit him in the New York apartment where he lives and works. He is currently writing Volume 4 of his magisterial biography A Life of Picasso, and is now up to 1939. It emerges during this interview that he has led a sort of double life, his own and Picasso's, and the more he digs into Picasso's life and work the greater he becomes.
