Where In the World Are Coleen and
Bob? (And Just What Are We Doing?)
Independence Day! We, in the United States of America, celebrate July 4 as the commemoration of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. We celebrate becoming – and
remaining -- a free nation.
Freedom is especially important to full-time RVers. Ask people why they are full-timers or what they like about full-timing, and freedom is often part of the answer. Freedom from the rat race. Freedom from the 9-5
job. Freedom from high monthly mortgage payments. Freedom to travel. Freedom to explore, to learn, to see new sights.
Here’s a bit of 4th of July trivia: Americans eat 150 million hot dogs over the July 4th holiday. This is
according to the National Sausage and Hot Dog Council.
Embrace freedom! Have a fun – and safe – holiday. And, take an extra moment to thank those who fight to keep us free.
Wherever you are in your travels, we wish you joy and prosperity, Coleen

Fishing from a Pier Can be Inexpensive and a Lot of Fun for RVers
One of the ways to cut the cost of fishing is to fish from a free public fishing pier. Notice that I said fishing pier. Some piers are open to the public but don't allow fishing, be aware of that.
~ Read the rest of Bob’s article on inexpensive fishing.

Exercising on the Road: Walking while RVing
Exercising on the road…don’t get the wrong impression. I’m not a fitness guru, or a health fanatic. I’m just a regular guy, who is trying to keep ahead of old age, which is coming up on me from behind, awful quickly.

RVing and Camping Tip
MotorHome
Magazine thought this tip of mine was good enough to include in their magazine! So, if you’ve read it before, that’s where.
Use a slap bracelet to keep your
paper towels from unraveling. We like to have our door open for natural ventilation. But, our paper towel holder is located near the door, and the breeze sometimes unravels the paper towels. We had a slap bracelet from a fair. I slapped it around the paper towels – problem solved. If you have trouble with yours unrolling on travel days, it also solves that problem. Works on toilet paper rolls, too!
