Most people who want to lose weight with the law of attraction find it very difficult. They come to me because they don't understand why it's so easy to manifest a new job or new shoes but using it for weight loss eludes them.
Manifesting anything external is much easier than changing your body which is a highly complex system which includes your mind and belief system. Most people who want to lose weight want to because they assume it is going to make them happier when they achieve their goal.
Unfortunately, what they don't realize is that their current unhappiness and dissatisfaction with themselves and their body is what is often keeping them from manifesting a better body.
You can't hate your way to a better body. Self-love and acceptance are the two magic elixers which activate the law of attraction!
The first thing that's needed is acceptance of where you're currently at. People often confuse acceptance with resignation but it's entirely different. Acceptance means you accept what is and you fully embrace the situation while reaching for more.
Eckart Tolle puts it beautifully: "Acceptance means, for now, this is what this situation, this moment, requires me to do, and so I do it willingly."
