The type of tourism offerings across the world continues to increase with unique and innovative offerings in experiential, adventure and wellness tourism.
And Jamaica, with its diverse offerings, including things like bird watching, are getting right up there with the rest!
So today, I say our exclusive adventures and experiences are not just 'nice to haves' for locals and visitors, they are increasingly among Jamaica's biggest selling points.
There are a few persons on the YouTube side that are almost always with me during my livestreams and premieres. And today I'd like to publicly salute them.
I thought of waiting until later, perhaps end of the year, but I choose to do it now.
They are..
- Kathy Chinn
- Robert Lussier
- Maggian Spruce
- Rex Pirata
- Omar (Guthrie)
- Fay Johnson
- Splat Babylon &
- Dwayne Randolph
There are other ardent peeps, but these folks, I tell you, are my most dedicated and so today I salute them and thank them for journey-ing with me.
Did you know...
... that Jamaica has a fascinating history which includes domination by the Spanish and English and their exploitation of the indigenous Indians and the African slaves?
All these influences are reflected in the rich culture, apparent in the language, food and culture.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.

A recently unveiled mermaid at the Montego Bay Marine Park (MBMP) is gaining popularity. A surprising number of persons, locals and visitors, have been visiting the MBMP to see the mermaid statue and make inquiries about the mythical creature.
The MBMP is currently awaiting approval from the National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) to crane-lift the statue to the location identified as Jamaica’s first and Latin America’s fourth underwater sculpture park behind Mexico, Grenada, and The Bahamas.
And by the way, its official, I now have a weekly YouTube video premiere at 6pm (Jamaica time) on Saturdays.
So if not already done, I suggest that you hop over to My YouTube channel and subscribe there to be notified.
And that's it for today. As usual, thank you for your time, I do appreciate it. Until next week, please #KeepSafeAndSane
