Brand new day, brand new month, brand new year, brand new opportunities! Happy New Year ! 🥂
Its 2022 my friend!
Gosh, these numbers (20 22) are starting to look weird now😊
But I know you'll agree with me that we are so blessed to a) still be here and b) perhaps not perfect health, but in our right minds.
You agree right?
Oh yes, just think about it, so much could have happened but we are still here!
In fact, you would have heard about the many incidents and accidents over the holiday period, I personally just missed an accident on New Year's night too!
And so I consider this a bounty of blessings.
I just wrote a what I call a 'gratitude article' on the website about it!
But I also took the time to bless you up too , thanks again for your love and support.
If not yet done, please take a few minutes and read the article here:
And what's the feature for this week?
J is planning to retire in Jamaica this year (2022) and had a bunch of questions, so between myself, Maura and Sher, we came up with that article, chock full of helpful tips for her, including this video about living in Jamaica with Maura.
But remember too that have several other new and insightful content on the website via the blog, so please stop by and check them out.
And now, the...
😲 This man GIVES AWAY layer chickens for FREE ! 🐔🥚?
In this special edition of the 'Likkle people' series, I visited the egg farm of veteran and champion egg layer farmer, Mr. Bromley who toured us on his 17 coop chicken farm which house over 51,000 layers!
And it was quite an amazing experience!
Not only was I blown away at the extent of his farm business, I was intrigued by his approach, knowledge and experience.
And I put several egg farming questions to him, to which he provided quite amazing responses. Join me now on this exciting and educational tour!
Here is the video, embedded below.
Please be sure to LIKE and comment on this awesome video.
And if you found it insightful, please SHARE it with someone, the more the merrier!

It is so obvious so I might have overlooked it, and yes, it is the climate in Jamaica!
The weather right now (at this time of year) is testament to that. And there's a gentle breeze we get in the late evenings that I absolutely just love!
This beautiful tropical climate is another reason persons swarm our shores each year, covid or no covid 😊, hence my highlight today.
I said it already but I learned from early that recognition cannot be too much. So again I want to salute everyone who journeyed with me in 2021;
- my immediate family and friends,
- colleagues,
- patreons,
- partners,
- readers,
- YouTube subscribers,
- Facebook, Twitter and Instagram followers
- as well as those who sent me emails, comments and suggestions.
Thank you friends! I wish for you and yours a hearty, and healthy 2022
Did you know...
... that Kingston formally became the capital of Jamaica in 1872?
Prior to this, Sante Jago De La Vega, now known as Spanish Town in St. Catherine was the capital of Jamaica- which earlier took the capital status from Seville in St. Ann.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
What are you doing later today (Sunday)?
I'll be there, hanging out with some of my most ardent peeps in the evening.
So if not too busy, I look forward to seeing you!
Until next week, please #KeepSafeAndSane
