Happy sunny Sunday 🌞 to you and yours again !
Staycation or vacation, you do vacation right?
Have you ever wondered which is better, an AirBnb or an All Inclusive?
I imagine you sort of understand the main difference, but have you really thought about it?
Perhaps it is time you do!
And Sheree did an insightful exposé on both - covering the main considerations such as budget, length of stay, personal expectations, number of persons, activities, amenities, etc.
But remember too that have several other new and insightful content on the website via the blog, so please stop by and check them out.
And now, the...
Do blind 👨🦯 persons cry?
How do they choose clothes to wear?
Do blind persons have any sense of color?
These are among the 10 questions I put to Uncle Bunn, a gentleman who has been blind all his life. His answers will ASTONISH you!
And there's a bonus!
His wife, also fully blind, joined in the conversation, and later, both treated us to some soothing music, him on the guitar while his wife sings! Quite inspirational!
Here is the video, embedded below.

Albeit curtailed because of an incident this year, the Accompong Maroons held their annual celebration on January 6th commemorating the 284th anniversary of the peace treaty signing with the British. It pulled in droves of persons, not
only from Jamaica but across the world including Europe and Africa!
And earlier in the week I got a special request from a student who is coming here for a few weeks to study Rastafarian in its truest form!
And those reminded of how, despite so much have changed, we still maintain rich traditions and culture in various forms here... and the maroons and the Rastafarians are just two examples!
So today I highlight this aspect of Jamaica, our deep rooted culture in its various forms, that today, is still a major attraction to many.
Today I recognize one of my YouTube subscribers, known as 'My Momma's son'. In response to this video, the Virtual Tour Of Montego Bay, his comment was this:
"This brings tears to my eyes, I didn't appreciate my island when I was there, I feel so stupid now."
That was deep!
Did you know...
... that Jamaica also was the first island in the Caribbean to produce rum on a commercial basis?
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
Thought I'd share this with you....
Canadian airline, Swoop, has expanded service to Jamaica with the addition of bi-weekly non-stop flights between Toronto and Kingston on Wednesdays and Fridays.
These are in addition to four weekly flights now provided from Toronto and Hamilton to Montego Bay on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The inaugural flight into Kingston arrived at the Norman Manley International Airport from Toronto in December with 142 passengers and crew.
That's it for today, until next week, please #KeepSafeAndSane
