Hey , happy Sunday to you and yours my friend!
I'm slowing getting back in the pic-of-things, but again I want to say,
thanks for all the love and support, you, and most of my readers, have been awesome!
Today I have an interesting video to share with you, yes, "Life In The Street As A Higgler" but just before, I'd like to bring to your attention my featured article for this week.
It is this... Bird Watching In Jamaica - 10 Best Places To Enjoy Our Feathery Friends! I promise you'll love them.
Please see the link below:
But remember there is more! A whole lot more great articles and response posts, chock full of helpful & insightful tips and information for you on The Blog; be sure to stop by and check them out here.
And that takes me back to the topic, our featured video.
In this special video premiere, I highlighted Ms Norma, a Jamaican street higgler, working to make ends meet in the heart of Down Town Montego Bay.
I actually captured the footage earlier in the year, but decided to publish this week.
She spoke about her experiences in the street, including losing her full bag of garlic but also shared recommendations she gives to young persons around her.
Here is it embedded below.
Please be sure to LIKE and comment.
And if you like it, please SHARE it with someone, the more the merrier!
Featured Jamaican Product
Did you know that our own Jamaican ginger is considered to be the most aromatic and pungent in the world today?
And it is one of those products that have a rich history here too. In fact, Jamaica, India and Sierra Leone were listed as the three largest ginger producing countries in the world during the 1930's and 1960's?
There is also place in Christiana, Manchester that was identified as the place that grows the finest ginger in the world!
That's why its our featured product today. You can read more about Jamaican Ginger in this article on the website.
Remember sometime last month I sent a special salute to Mr. Daimion Guthrie, one of my prized YouTube and website subscribers?
Well he came forth again with a special token for us. I'm doing something special so more on that later.
But today I just want to say thanks again to you and all my readers and subscribers for the love and support. You have been awesome!!
Did you know...
... that Jamaica is the first team from the English-speaking Caribbean to qualify for the Football (Soccer) World Cup? This was the 1998 world championship.
