Hey , Happy Sunday to you and yours again my friend!
I hope all is well on your side.
Ok, so you know that Jamaica’s southern parishes are quite stunning even though the tourism product is perhaps not as developed as on the north side right?
But one thing you’re sure to find there is good FOOD - and lots of it! We do place a huge emphasis on that and so no matter where in JA you are, there is likely to be a place to stop and grab a bit, and that
certainly includes the south coast.
And now, the...
You remember I shared some interesting facts about the famous Jamaican patty last week right?
And it created quite a stir of interest, becoming one of my most read editions! And so I was inspired to do a video about patty, but what video?
Surely not baking it 😊
I scrolled through YouTube and lo and behold I saw something I sorta had in mind already - patty challenges/ patty testings :-)
And so idea born!
I called my teamies together, brainstormed and now has what we call, the ULTIMATE patty challenge! Certainly, the first of its kind with this level of detail!
So in this video, we tested the top-tier patty companies in Jamaica and boldly declared the best patty maker here in Jamaica.
But listen, it might NOT be who you guessed, so be prepared to be surprised!
Here is it, embedded below.

Featured Jamaican Product
Sometime last week, I heard the announcement that the final James Bond film, No Time To Die was about to be premiered, following several delays because of
the Covid19 pandemic.
And it dawned on me that Jamaica was going to, again, featured on the world stage since parts of it was filmed here!
So yes, we have great good, wonderful people, music and all, but we also have some of the most scenic locations in the world that the best producers and filmmakers cannot resist :-)
On a more personal note, we laid to rest our dear grandfather earlier last week.
But I tell you the outpouring of love and support was unbelievable.
And so I take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone who reached out in some shape or form with their support, it certainly made a difference.
Blessings!
Did you know...
...that the highest point in Jamaica is the blue Mountain Peak, towering at 7,402 feet above sea level?
On a clear day with clear skies, the outline of the island Cuba can be seen clearly from there.
According to TripAdvisor.com, The Blue Mountains in Jamaica is a hiker's and camper's paradise!. You have to see it to believe it. If you visit Jamaica, the Blue Mountains is a must see. And yes, the world-famous Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is cultivated on the lower slopes.
This too, is yet another interesting fact from my 101 Intriguing Facts About Jamaica book.
You watched the video above right? The same Patty Challenge?
If you did, I know you would have enjoyed it.
So here's how you compensate me 😊
Just share another video idea with me, lol. That's all.
Tell me something you'd like me to make a video of and I'd be happy.
Deal? 😊
Just hit the reply button, thanks.
Anyway, it has been a pleasure sharing this time with you again, thanks again.
