When I was active in the corporate world, I really liked my job, but...
My head was somewhere else than
with my kids and wife on Sunday afternoon.
The Monday-Friday 9-5 job syndrome is more common than you can imagine.
Deep in your head,
the pressure to perform constantly reminded you that you were trading your time and effort for money.
I could never turn off that "channel."
I
was lucky to like my job, and it just creeps me out how people who hate their jobs must feel on Sunday afternoon.
It wasn't until I left the corporate world and started my online business that I realized the truth about the "Sunday-sucks" syndrome.
Yes, I had to invest a lot of time to launch my business correctly.
Yes, it took me over a month before the first dollars landed in my bank account.
Yes, there were a lot of failures and frustrations to get my business to work the way I wanted
BUT...I loved what I was doing, and still, I love it more than ever.
Sometimes, I have to check what day it is. The work with my own business is different from work
vs. paycheck activity as it was in the corporate world. Instead, it's fun every day to be able to do something you're passionate about.
And the money?
Well, that's the beauty of the whole thing. When you're doing something you love to do, and you do it with a true passion, money will start to chase you. There are thousands, if not millions, of people out there who suffer from the Sunday syndrome and would love to find the path to a life where you love every day and earn money on what you're doing.
Listen here: I'm not a professional writer but just an ordinary 71-year-old guy who gets so motivated when trying to transmit my message about what changes to do to fully enjoy life on your own terms.
Before you waste your entire Sunday thinking of a new argument or
perhaps a catchphrase for me:
