An Ibis Sacre
Bird-spotting is such a pleasure in France, partly due to us being on the migration routes of so many wonderful species!

The stunning Ibis Sacre, a tall, long-legged wader, was introduced here in the 1980's, from its native Africa.

Nesting pairs can be seen on the Atlantic and Mediterranean                                    coasts.

Did you know?           The Ibis Sacre is associated with fertility and the Christian faith.

Ile des Vergelesses
Produced in the famous Cote de Beaune, in the village Pernand Vergelesses, this Premier Cru should definitely be on your wine-tasting bucket list!

Considered to be the Jewel in the Crown of the Pernand vineyards, the vines grown on a southeast facing slope,
known as the Bois de Noel.

Did you know?        Only 3500 bottles are produced annually, and all organic!

Ille des Vergelesses
This peaceful region named after two rivers, forms part of Brittany, and was created as part of the French Revolution, on March 4, 1790!

This is one of our top cruise destinations, with 600 km of waterways and Napoleonic canals to explore.

Woodlands, pastures, medieval towns and fairytale castles are all on the menu, plus of course, wonderful crepes and cider!

Did you know?          Over 12% of locals aged 18-30 are now fluent in Breton, once                                          considered a dead language.
