It's that time of year again when we take a little time out with our family.
Summer is here in Burgundy and we're having a great time visiting some of the local attractions.
This morning, we headed for the underground caves with stalagmites and stalactites over 7 million years old, and a boat ride to see the clearest underground pools imaginable. This may not be the grandest of the caves that we've visited, but certainly worth a visit, and the perfect spot to cool off on a hot day.
Our guide even spoke perfect English!
Next stop, the Abbey of St Peter Beza surrounded by stunning gardens, and listed among the Historic Monuments of France, complete with ancient towers and a stunning Lavoir dating from the 17th century, where Nuns and locals were able to do their laundry in times gone by in the cool, clear waters.
