Empower Women Leaders ... On the move again!

 
New Ministry Partnerships * New Board Members * Trip to Liberia in March

EWL has been given the exciting opportunity to team up with Jacksonville based, All In Ministries (www.allinmin.org) on our next trip to Liberia. This like-minded ministry is led by Susan Freese, a dynamic Bible teacher who God has called to bring gospel encouragement and discipleship challenges to women leaders all over the world. On our trip in March Susan will be the main speaker at a nationwide gathering of pastors’ wives and other women church leaders from all over West Africa who are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of West Africa. Other women who have had a prominent place in leadership bringing the civil war to a close have also expressed an interest in attending.
 
We want to thank our founding board members Jacqui Brown and Ann Macferran for their faithful service for the past four years. Both Jacqui and Ann have expressed a desire to move on to other areas of focus for their energy and ministry. They have both been a great encouragement to our organization and good friends to me personally. I thank them for their staying on for one year longer then their term of service suggested.

We are welcoming new board members.  Kathy Plummer and Mallinda Asare have agreed to join us and we couldn’t be happier! Please take some time to be acquainted with them by seeing their bios on our website.
 
March 11th – 18th are the dates that we are planning to go to Liberia with All In Ministries. Susan will speak at the conference on the 14th-16th. On Tuesday the 13th we are planning on spending time at the Restoration Kids Christian Academy at Peace Island, this is the school which was built and is funded by donations to EWL.

Here is a breakdown of one-time costs:
desk $20;

school supplies per child $15;

teacher salary per month $200
