The 2016 campaigning materials have arrived! Take advantage of all our updated materials in an easy to use format—including Power Point slide sets, stationary templates, outreach guides, social media banners, placemats, sample press releases, NEW letters to the editor drafts and so much more! Check out all of these handy materials in the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day section of our website.

There were many creative collaborations that came out of the events last year and we want to help you plan for 2016. Plus, there are so many benefits to hosting an event within your communities: you will not only raise awareness, but will empower others to speak out against ageism and combat isolation.

Want to draw some attention to your event plans and posts on social media? Share this year’s hashtag: #WEAAD2016.

By using the hashtag, your content will be searchable and with enough participation will trend, ultimately growing the number of others around the globe that can learn more about WEAAD.

We are ramping up for our social media countdown that is set to launch on May 19^th. We will be disseminating resources, information and notable news focusing on a series of themes brought to us by the Elder Justice Roadmap, which shapes the work of the NCEA.
