Featured Blogger: Georgia J. Anetzberger

We have a sensational blog line up in the months to come that connect to our themes of engaging professionals, supporting communities, improving resources and developing innovations.
Tying into our first theme of engaging professionals, we are pleased to kick off our campaign with a piece by Georgia J. Anetzberger, PhD, ACSW, NCEA Advisory Board Member, titled Making a Difference: Elder Abuse Networks.

Dr. Anetzberger has devoted over forty years as a practitioner, planner, administrator, researcher and educator. An influencer in the field, she has conducted pioneering research on the subjects of elder abuse, perpetrators, cultural variations in meaning and response efforts.

Dr. Anetzberger’s inspiring piece reminds us that supportive networks should strive to “’never give up’, knowing that it is ‘better together’ in effectively stopping elder abuse.”
