Shout?

 Shout?

Often I shout for fear of not being heard.
I puff my cheeks, pump my breast, and I let it out.

It serves nothing. And nobody. It's a pointless exercise.

I've shouted in need. I need more customers, more business, more money.
I've shouted in search. I need new contacts, new connections, new prospects.
I've shouted in pride. I'm this, I'm that, look at me.

I'm a marketer. My kind tends to shout. The sound of our voice is reassuring to us marketers. Shouting marks our progress, or so we think.

Fellow marketers, please stop shouting.

Do great thinkers, great leaders, or great salespeople shout?

The most common trait of those three types of people is listening.

I'm a marketer. And I am learning to listen.

Here's the story of me, three clients, and a grand prize: bringing my business back in the black during a pandemic.

Customized training programs have been the key to taking my business back in the black, even during the pandemic. To get there I had stop shouting and start listening.
