THIS is why I support the SATO Project: Little Irwin had a long journey in his young life. One of our volunteers rescued him after he was hit by a car and left on the side of the road in Puerto Rico. His right rear leg was catastrophically broken and needed to be amputated and his poor body was covered in mange and fleas from trying to survive in the streets. However, Irwin was a fighter. He underwent his surgery like a champ and happily embraced his new life on
three legs. That was only the beginning of all kinds of wonderful. Irwin got adopted by a wonderful family of animal lovers and now lives in upstate NY. Irwin's bravery and incredible story of recovery was an inspiration to all of us. Now he is also a gift to his family every day of his life.
The Sato Project has rescued, rehabilitated and found homes for over 6,000 dogs since 2011. We are dedicated to fostering long-term change for the satos in Puerto Rico through ongoing rescue efforts and through our community Spay, Neuter and Vaccine Program. You're a critical part of our efforts, and we are extremely grateful for your compassion. We look forward to sending you updates on the satos and our work in the year ahead. In the meantime, I hope you will
continue to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for day to day updates on our work at the beach. PLEASE HELP:
