Yes, there is a point to the personal story I'm about to share with you so please keep reading until the very end!
But before we get to that point, we know that some of our readers haven't yet got the results they want. And sometimes that's very discouraging.
Those who are already getting the results they want know that there is a journey to get there. But when you get the end results it makes the journey - no matter how long - seem worthwhile.
We want to help you make that journey.
So what's the personal story?
Many, many years ago I started learning about building websites, creating buy buttons and delivering digital products automatically.
After months of work (and awful frustration!) I made a sale.
A single sale! I made $7!
"They" literally laughed in my face when I told "them" how much I'd made. Who are "they?" Family members.
They weren't being mean (well, perhaps they didn't realize they were being mean!) and yet it was very discouraging to be laughed at. I'd put a lot of work into getting to that single sale. That sale meant that what I had done had worked. They didn't see that. They just saw that I hadn't made thousands.
That single sale came in while I was literally asleep.
The idea of making money while you sleep had seemed like a daydream until that point. But with that first $7 it was no longer a daydream. It worked.
Once you have something that works, you can tweak it, improve it, refine it, scale it.
What family failed to realize is that what I'd done once, I could do again.
And again.
And again.
So that's what I did. I kept doing it. It took a few months before I got to the $2,000 a month level and then beyond, but doing what works....works! In other words, "rinse and repeat".
Sure, there were plenty of other mistakes along the way. Learning the hard way takes time and effort. And I was learning the hard way.
That's all a long time ago now and family don't laugh anymore. They haven't laughed for a long, long time.
Here's the point for you, if you haven't yet had the results you want - or any results at all - don't give up!
You may be closer to your success than you think.
And don't measure your success by the opinions of others who don't understand what you're doing. The only limits are the ones you impose on yourself.
What can push you over the finish line to success?
