Identity & Playing the Game
I haven't been able to stop thinking about this US Open Finals match between Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka. Partly because I love and play a lot of tennis, and have since I was a
kid. 🎾 But also because of this intersection of so many things: sportsmanship, rules, sexism, racism, pressure, emotions. It was so human. And uncomfortable. It's had me thinking a lot about identity, all of the labels in my world, and whether I would "do better."
I wrote something about it on my blog if you want to check it out: Family Life, Naturally
