No, not mine! Although at this point, I probably should start my own after all of the panels and podcasts I sat in on this past year!
Mostly it's just been fun to show up for other people and colleagues who are passionate about getting their messages out remotely and online into this world, especially during this pandemic. And to support the work that they are doing to improve community health, center healthcare providers of color, and contribute to the body information we can find online with fantastic, relatable, and rigorous content.
Most recently I had a chance to sit with my colleague and friend,
Abby Desjardien, to talk about grief (which y'all know I love to think and write about) and living. And what we are doing as humans is grief work as we continue to live and breathe in this world.
To check out some of the other panels and podcasts I have had a chance to work on this past year, you can peep my
Podcasts & Videos page on my blog.
In our collective grief, as we witness Black Lives continuing to be marginalized and brutalized, our healthcare and political system being hijacked by incivility, ignorance, and deceit, I still stand as a relentless optimist. I can't not. I won't be jaded or dissuaded from the pain and anger, and I request that you don't either. We can heal this grief, as we can our own private ones, and this is the conversation I want to show up for. Let's keep working on that
together.
Take care of your hearts, Sunita
