Hi
Based on what I hear from just about everyone I talk to, finding quality staff seems to be the biggest impediment to agency growth. And over the years I've had ABA businesses advertise on the podcast in order to get their name out to the field at large.
Most recently, I had the pleasure of working with the folks at Tate Behavioral in the Western Massachusetts area. As many listeners might remember, we ran some ads a few months ago, and I'm happy to report that they were able to land some quality candidates for their agency.
Here is what Tate's CEO and Founder, Christina Rizzo Tatreau had to say about the experience:
When thinking about where we could place an ad for our newly created BCBA positions at Tate Behavioral and the Tate Learning Center we knew we wanted our ads to be on the BOP. We reached out to Matt and he worked with us on crafting an ad based on his thorough knowledge of our company. We were unsure whether we’d get any applicants at all, but we ended up being able to fill both of our open positions within a few weeks of placing our ads. Matt is
the best! Such a great choice for our business.
I think it's important to note that this was an exceptionally good outcome, and we were recruiting for positions in a state that has the one of the highest density of BCBAs in the country. That said, Behavioral Observations reaches thousands of engaged practitioners with each episode, and therefore presents an opportunity to connect with one of the largest audiences in the field.
So if you want to talk about whether advertising on the show is a good match for your agency's staffing needs, let's set up a time to chat. You can simply reply to this email, reach me through the BOP contact page, or message me on most social media platforms. Lastly, if you're not in a hiring role, please forward this email to your colleagues who are.
All the best,
Matt
