Hi
Somewhere in the hazy hours between February 21st and 22nd of 2016, my good friend John and I hit the publish button for Session 1 of the Behavioral Observations Podcast.Â
I was incredibly nervous at the time because I wasn't exactly sure how a behavior-analytic podcast would be received, considering that there were no ongoing shows at that point in time (permit me two sidenotes: 1. That's crazy to think about in today's day and age, where it seems that a new ABA podcast pops up each month, and, 2. the real OG ABA podcast credit goes to Drs. Rick Kubina and Matt Normand, for publishing The Precision Teaching Podcast, and the JABA Podcast
in the pre-iPhone days).
But I digress... the real point I want to make is to thank you and everyone else for tuning into the show. I've always tried to make this show listener-focused, and have picked topics and guests that I thought would be helpful for the everyday BCBA.
Suffice to say, the response to the show has been incredibly overwhelming. Since 2016, the show has been downloaded over 3.1 million times, and in over 100 countries (if someone gave me a legal pad and a pen, I don't think I could make a list of 100 countries!?!?). More importantly, I've had the opportunity to meet hundreds of people in this process.Â
As such, I am genuinely grateful to everyone who has taken some time out of their day to check out the podcast, share it with their friends, support it through Patreon subscriptions, and force their students and trainees to listen to it (I'm kidding on that last one).
To mark this occasion, I thought it would be fun to put on a CEU sale. So for the 6th anniversary of the show, all CEU's are going to be 60% off through the end of February. Use the coupon code SIXYEARS when you check out. This code is limited to a one-time use per customer, so grab as
many as you need while they are deeply discounted.Â
If you're good to go with continuing education, no worries, but please consider forwarding this to friends and colleagues who might.Â
Thanks so much for your support of the show, and I look forward to continuing to produce and share these fun and interesting conversations!
All the best,
Matt
