When I was first learning about Behavior Analysis in the mid 90s, the landscape of the profession was quite different. Firstly, there were a lot fewer of us, and secondly, there were a lot fewer Behavior Analytic institutions.
However, The New England Center for Children was an exception. Even way back then, it had already been 'around,' providing essential educational and treatment services for people
with severe disabilities, for decades.
As such, I'm honored to partner with NECC to help them find like-minded, caring individuals, who want to serve this importantl population, and grow as professionals.
In short, NECC's mission is to create a global network of educators, researchers, and programs to help those living with autism live fuller lives.
What are some of the benefits of working at NECC? Here's just a few of
them:
- The industry's most competitive pay.
- Generous rofessional development and benefits packages, including free graduate school.
- Ongoing training for staff, from annual refreshers to continuing education units (CEUs) for professional licenses.
- Free online coursework for Registered Behavior Technician® certification as well as introductory classes on the principles and application of ABA
to paraprofessionals.
- Opportunities to work abroad.
- And lot's more!
Lastly, if you're attending this year's ABAI convention in Philadelphia, make sure to stop by the NECC booth to learn more about employment opportunities with them.
