Who is this course for? Broadly speaking, it's for school-based behavioral professionals. This includes BCBAs, school psychologists, special educators, behavior specialists, administrative staff, and yes, the ultimate behavioral engineer, the classroom teacher.
So if you're a BCBA working in clinics or home settings, or if you're in schools but providing services to individuals with
intensive needs, you'll probably find this content interesting, but perhaps not entirely applicable because the course really focuses on Tier 1 and Tier 2 behavioral interventions.
For everyone else however...
While we based the course content on strategies and practices with broad empirical support, we discuss these things in simple, everyday language. In other words, we've done our best to make the content accessible to anyone who wants to learn how to
improve the behavior in classroom settings.
What do you get with this course?
- Nine professionally filmed and edited instructional videos.
- Fun animations that reinforce the strategies that are taught.
- "IRL" assignments where you'll observe and assess actual classrooms.
- A downloadable workbook/guided notes document to help you follow along.
- A comprehensive reference list if you want to really nerd out on this
stuff.
- A feeling of superiority over your peers once you've finished.
- And of course, 4.5 continuing education units.
OK, one of those may not be entirely accurate, but you get the idea ;-)
So to recap:
- If you've already bought the course, THANK YOU!!! Let me know what you
think about it.
- If you don't serve this population, no problem... stay tuned for future BOP content and emails that are hopefully more up your alley.
- If neither of the above, the course is on sale through Friday, April 12th. You'll save 30% off the full price by using the promo code, 'classroom.'
- Please forward/share this email as appropriate, meaning with friends, colleagues, random people on the street, etc...
Thanks for reading,
