A holiday message from Matt...

Hi

I want to send a quick note to wish all Behavioral Observations listeners a happy and safe holiday.

It's been a fantastic year for me with lots to be thankful for. With regard to the podcast, I'm profoundly grateful that people have taken the time out of their day to download and listen to it. When I first started the show, I though that maybe a few hundred people would tune in, tops. As of this writing, the show has a total of over 80K downloads!

It is an understatement to say that the podcast has exceeded my wildest dreams. Let me state in no uncertain terms that this show would not exist without such a listenership. If the show got dismal downloads, if people didn't share the podcast with friends and co-workers, if I did not get emails, Facebook messages, and so forth from all of you...., well I guess I don't have to explain the process of extinction ;-).

I am also very humbled by the guests who have taken literally hours of their time to appear on the show. While each episode lasts about an hour apiece, it often takes a bit of time to schedule the interview, discuss topics in advance, fiddle with the technical details, etc... Special thanks to my repeat guests such as Pat Friman, Greg Hanley, Manny Ramirez, and Mark Dixon (his 2nd episode will be out sometime in January).

Looking ahead, I'm really psyched for 2017. I have greatly enjoyed the interactions with listeners, so please continue reaching out when you have a question, a comment, suggestions for future guests and topics, or even some constructive suggestions on how to improve the listener experience. I read every email and social media post, and do my best to respond to every one of them.

All the best,
Matt
