PT, ACT, and ... coffee???

Hi

Happy Monday!

I'm sure you're wondering what these things have to do with one another. I'm betting this is a busy morning for most readers of this email so I'll get right to the point.
  1. I'd love to get more questions for Pat Friman's upcoming interview. Click here to send it via email or voice mail. If you choose the latter, I will try to play it on the podcast itself, which I think would be cool.
  2. Feeling stressed? Check out Session 41, where Russ Harris talks about ACT and practitioner well being. Be sure to listen all the way through as he gives some awesome advice at the end of the interview.
  3. I just got back from Las Vegas where I attended Rick Kubina's Precision Teaching workshop. To be transparent, his company Chartlytics is a sponsor of the podcast, but I would be just as impressed regardless of this relationship. If you want to seriously challenge your assumptions of how you measure behavior and interpret data, I strongly recommend attending one of these events. If you can't invest the time for a 2-day workshop, check out their starter pack, which includes a free eBook and free webinar that's good for 1-credit CEU.
  4. Finally, I'm excited to feature a new sponsor to the show. Operant Coffee is the brainchild of fellow BCBA, Beth Garrison. She blended (see what I did there?) her passion for coffee and sustainability, and created this really cool brand of coffee. Of course I had to sample it prior to make sure it was worthy of recommending, and it is excellent! If you want to check it out, and, if you want a little discount, click here, and use the coupon code BEHAVIORCOFFEE (be sure to use all caps, as in "I NEED COFFEE RIGHT NOW!!!").
Have a great week!

Matt
